Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit more about me.
My wife Ashley, son Bennett (10), daughter Addison (6), and our pup Roxy are proud to have called Dedham our home since 2015. Born and raised in New England, I have lived, learned and worked, in and around, the Greater Boston area my entire life. In my professional life I work in commercial real estate investment field, and on the personal side I am an active member of the Dedham community with my civic and volunteering time split primarily between local politics and youth sports.
Hockey is a passion of mine and now my children. I coach both my son and daughter’s teams, I am a former member of the Board of Directors for Dedham Youth Hockey (2 years) and when not at the rink, a coach as well for my son’s basketball team.
On the political side of things, I have dedicated myself to providing the much needed voice of compromise, common sense, and non-partisan thinking that is currently missing in our political culture. Politics, on a national, state and local level have become more divided than we have seen in generations. A divide that has created extremes who are unwilling to work together and which ultimately leads to the inability of government to legislate effectively. To try and lead by example, I am currently an elected Town Meeting Member (since 2016), and have been the associate member of the Dedham Planning Board since 2020. I have previously held positions on the Dedham Zoning Board of Appeals, and the town’s Capital Expenditures Committee where I was the chair for 3 of my 5 years.
Over the past year I have also been actively involved in the “save our neighborhood schools” campaign here in Dedham. Neighborhood schools are more than just places of learning. They are the beating heart of a community. The closure of one should not be taken lightly and should never be dictated by financial incentives from the state.
When not involved with the activities above, I enjoy being out on the water, fishing, camping and enjoying all of the outdoor amenities and activities the Commonwealth offers.
